Farewell, My Turnabout: King Dickbag II
Good God, this is a big one for an investigation segment. Then again... I guess we can see why.
There will be some direct transcribing from my notes on this first bit, because apparently I was spazzing like hell: "- s-sob Phoenix you youuuuuu (no I can't think of anything more coherent to say)"
(Later, I had some chocolate and I swear the spazzing stopped, for the most part. Chocolate, you are magical and now I vaguely want to read Prisoner of Azkaban again.)
I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that we get this incredibly important piece of information... from OLDBAG. Come to think of it, she ends up giving us crucial knowledge more than once, doesn't she? AAI-5 comes to mind...

Sooo I'm going to say it now: Matt is one of my favourite AA villains.
He is also, however, completely detestable. I have a kind of love-hate relationship with him...

I'm not sure to what extent did he "fool" Adrian... but regardless, I always wonder how his meeting with Shelly went. Matt must have put up a damn good act.

This case is just... so good at subverting your expectations, that you find yourself having the same kind of internal conflict that Phoenix is having right now.
... Edgeworth is totally all "shut up I've already reached prosecutor enlightenment" on the inside, though.
AND NOW, TO FURTHER CRUSH THE PLAYER.
... I really want to make some sarcastic quip about the way he words this, but, uh. My sarcasm is failing me right now.
"L-Look, I know I'm in no position to argue right now, but would you please be a little more evil? Because the whole moral greyness in this case is kind of killing me."

Now I feel even more right comparing him to James Bond.
... I missed the meow. But I think we should all lighten up a little now by imagining the face Shelly must have made after he heard it and slowly realised A CAT JUST GAVE HIM AWAY.
(Also it implies Shoe was close to him at the time he made the call, so I THINK I'M STILL RIGHT YAY.)
I... I just have to wonder how he forgot, you know, that bellboy he last saw with Maya. His face wasn't exactly unremarkable.
If Edgeworth is right and the kidnapping was planned ahead of time... well, it makes me want to go back to my question from the last post. :T
