I seem to have an art block now, which kinda sucks because I was finally making a good start on detective!Shelly, buuut hey. Got a meme to answer anyway.

1. Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle - ZUN
This is a tune from a series of games I should really ramble about in here some day, Touhou. It basically consists of flying girls (some who look uncomfortably young) shooting nightmarish barrages of bullets at each other. This song is one of the themes for one of the main characters, Reimu Hakurei.
2. Malicious Fingers - SnappleMan
THIS IS A SERIOUSLY BADASS REMIX OF THE FINAL BOSS THEME FROM SONIC 3. LISTEN TO IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
3. Mama D. - Mr. BIG
(I couldn't find a single video of this song on YouTube, so you only get a Sendspace link. Sorry. But it's a great song. ;_;) This song was sent to me by a friend and it just makes me smile. I love it.
4. Mask*DeMasque ~ Please Listen! - OH HEY IT'S THE ORCHESTRA VERSION
... I just love this. I even love its NAME. In fact, did I ever mention I'm rather fond of all the characters in 3-2?
5. Memories - Koh Ohtani
From the videogame Shadow of the Colossus. Absolutely everything about this game is lovely.
6. MK Ultra - Muse
I-I'm a fan of Muse. ;; I quite like this song because it references some crazy experiments the CIA did a few decades ago involving mind-altering drugs and mind control and it kinda fits Marco.
7. Monstrous Monstro - Yoko Shimomura
One of the many (MANY) battle themes in Kingdom Hearts. I like listening to whimsical music like this from time to time. :B
Aaand we're done here! Yay.
I guess I could just write the damn fic instead of drawing it as a comic/illustrated thing b-but asdfdhnfg I don't like breaking promises aaaaaaaa
Oh, hey, I have an idea. My problem right now is with drawing and not writing, so... If you'd like, leave me some prompts in the comments and I will write you drabbles (of no set size because honestly I can do without the pressure ;;).

(I just saw the phrase "Orchestra version" and flipped the fuck out, because I don't have that waaaaaah IT'S SO EPIC. ONE DAY SOON I SWEAR *shakes fist*)
Boy I don't even know what I'm writing (A-ALSO DID YOU ENJOY THE FILE I SENT YOU?)
"Thank you, doctor," she said, smiling, taking Shoe back in her arms with genuine relief. The poor thing seemed to have had a respiratory failure out of nowhere shortly before, and it felt like an eternity to her until Shoe finally got medical attention. "But..." When approaching one who is hiding something, it is best not to relentlessly pressure them straight away. Shelly's advice had served her well so far. "What was wrong with him?"
The doctor bit his lip, twiddled his thumbs, looked everywhere but at Adrian. "Your cat..." He swallowed in preparation before continuing. Never a good sign. "... Your cat swallowed a bullet, ma'am."
Oh.
"O-Oh, my. I... can't imagine how..."
He took a deep breath, clasping his hands. Nervous fellow, wasn't he? Oh, why am I NOTICING these things now, I should be thinking of how to get out of this, I can't believe what's happening, why am I so-- "So, ma'am, if you don't mind... I'd like to ask you a few questions."
As Adrian's mind frantically tried to remember how to eliminate short term memories, what spot in the skull would be the one to hit or even if it was all nothing but an urban legend immortalised by mediocre amateurs, the door to the room opened and, from behind it, a familiar face peered in. Where DID she remember it from? One of Shelly's acquaintances, maybe?
"Hey, Dawson," the newcomer began, "I looked into it. It wasn't a bullet, it was candy."
"What? Are you sure? But it really looked like..."
"CANDY. I'm writing a report right now, you know, you can come check it out and see for yourself. Actually, just come anyway, we need to talk about getting you some eyeglasses." The smile he flashed at Adrian confirmed her suspicions. "If you'll excuse us, ma'am."
Shelly's monocle was barely visible over his book, but she could hear his smile. "I told you so."
Something - a memory from months ago - came to her then. "Wait, so you did know a--"
Was it a smile or a smirk? "That is beside the point."

Shoe, for god's sake, you have the entire house to play in and you choose the armoury akcjncnjk STOP EATING THE WEAPONRY YOU SILLY THING >( YOU'LL GET ADRIAN IN TROUBLE.
Also, that track was pretty much the best thing I've ever had in my ears, no lie. This soundtrack needs to be in my life, stat.
