Ten Days Meme - Five (+ Sims!)
Let's get the angsting out of the way first, shall we?

1) I wish I'd never looked at any non-vanilla porn ever. Don't ask why.
2) I wish I hadn't reacted so badly when you did... what you did to me. Maybe then you would have stopped sooner and I wouldn't have taken months to move on.
3) I wish I had never picked up that damn magazine those years ago. The one with the article that sent me into a neurotic fit.
4) I wish I could have just... not hurt you so much. Sometimes it feels like you still haven't recovered from it, and every time I remember how I made you feel, I feel guilty about it.
5) I wish I had never made you cry, mom.
6) I wish I hadn't lost track of my Pokémon toys because I freaking miss them. 8T;; I LOVED THEM, YOU GUYS. THEY USED TO LIVE ON THIS LITTLE ISLAND AND WARTORTLE WAS THE ELDER AND CHARMELEON WAS A BADASS AND...
OH, HEY, IT'S SIM TIME. I installed the new expansion yesterday, and after spending a few hours trying to make the game playable, I managed to get things into an acceptably stable state.
... Which doesn't mean I didn't still run into glitches, because what's a Sims game without them? At one point, our very own Adrian queued up going to bed and then... seemingly disappeared.
Then I found her.
But really, other than that, I haven't run into any blatant glitches yet. So, before moving into what I want you to decide for me, let's have a look at the current state of things.
There are a few new personality traits now. This one here seemed perfect for Matt, so, with a little bit of cheating, I added it in. And yeah, Sims can officially be celebrities now! And there are paparazzi around and everything, too.
... Also he wanted to hang out with Juan. I don't even know.
Speaking of Juan, look what I finally remembered to buy him! Which reminds me, Sims can be in a band now.
Oh, and then there's the customary new hairstyles and such.
... I-I dunno, I kinda want Matt to keep this one, since he doesn't have scars or anything and his old hair barely even hides his eye anyway. Should I?
More on hair later because I AM DISORGANISED
"Nobody's gonna notice I can't actually play the guitar, right?"
"Of cooourse not."
And then I had Juan jump to the much more fitting Music career.
Speaking of which, there are now dance clubs and all sorts of groovy lounges! I took Matt and Juan there.
The place is... uh... so new in town that it was kinda empty save for the barista.
And then, the most boring dance-off in the history of this relationship.
Another new feature in this expansion pack is the addition of vampires. Now, this means fuck-all to you, but ONE OF MY CHARACTERS IS A VAMPIRE AND I STRIVE FOR ACCURACY, so I placed a Vampire Lounge in the neighbourhood, hoping it'd spawn a few of those guys, and I took my aspiring vampire there.
... He only really managed to get stuck in the elevator door.
Also, he apparently has to be a celebrity in order to get in, but I only took this picture to point out how mannish the bouncer looks. This woman must be on testosterone.
And there were these charming beds in the basement, but commanding this fellow here to examine them only prompted a "durrrrrr I wonder what these are" response.
AND NOW, BACK ON THE SUBJECT OF HAIR:
This was what finally made me go "Fuck, I need to make a Franziska now."
But now I can't decide between these two hairstyles. One strikes me as too much, the other doesn't seem ENOUGH. HEEEELP
On a last note before I mention my final dilemma... remember how last time, a couple of ~professional villains~ wanted to befriend Matt Engarde for some reason?
Well, Matt ended up flirting with this guy (who we now see passively-aggressively leaving the place)'s wife.
BUT WAIT, WHAT IS THIS DEVILISH SMIRK?
HE KICKED OVER MATT'S TRASH CAN. THE FIEND.
And, uh, then the wifey and Matt's own wife slapped each other a lot.
... T-This just looks really funny to me, okay? "Honey, we just hit a rough patch, I know, but everything's gonna be-- look I can see what you're thinking and would you mind focusing on the situation here right now, we can eat later"
AND NOW, MY DILEMMA:
I want Matt (and possibly Juan) to be a celebrity. I also want that other guy to be a vampire. Sadly, it's been a few in-game days and the neighbourhood doesn't seem to be spawning any new celebrities OR vampires, which makes both of these things impossible to realise.
But... there's also a new pre-built neighbourhood in this expansion that already comes with both of these. I could have all the Sims start out there, but it'd be a completely fresh start. Which, uh, might not be so bad because maybe this time I'd put Adrian and Shelly in separate houses and maybe Adrian could turn out to be a lesbian this time I DON'T KNOW. On the other hand, we'd have a whole bunch of new Sims to ignore, and I'd have to tell you which ones are based on my characters so you can ignore them differently from how you ignore the other non-AA ones...
I CAN'T DO CHOICES ON MY OWN THE CHOICE IS IN YOUR HANDS, MY FRIENDS.
EDIT BECAUSE I FORGOT A THING: I'll be making Sims of some of my school buddies and myself, too, so, uh... there's that. You're probably extra-free to ignore THOSE.

BUT. Um. I'd suggest just putting them in the pre-made neighborhood, because then it has stuff already installed in there, so less work for you! :D
