Pokémon SoulSilver: I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN

LAST TIME, ON POKÉMON SOULSILVER...
... HG/SS's Requisite Childhood Friend is amazingly useless. When I played the game on my DS, I chose to play as the boy character instead, so it was easier to ignore. Because the girl wasn't in the original games at all, so it's... different. Erm. Am I making sense? I JUST DON'T LIKE TO SEE GOLD/THE ONE I SHALL ALWAYS CALL JAY AS A MINDLESS, PERSONALITY-LESS ZOMBIE.
Oh, yeah, Mr. Pokémon gave us an egg.
Honestly, I like Professor Elm a lot just because he's cute, but in all fairness, he kind of just forces you into things and that's a bit dickish!
Your mom saves money for you!... And she also spends it for you, usually on useless berries, but sometimes on healing items. In the original G/S/C, she would also buy decorations for your room and I loved it.

... Am I the only one who thinks that the first couple of hours of a Pokémon game you've played before are always the hardest to trudge through? They're all just... same old, same old.

AND THEN... I stopped playing for nearly two months because there were no interesting Pokémon I wanted to use in our team.
... So I made one.
SO HERE WE SEE OUR NEWEST-- wait, shit.
... There. Anyway, I've been wanting to do this for a while - I think the Roselia line really suits Ron, and I'll be changing his nickname as he evolves.
Off we go now!... Er, to catch more early-game Pokémon.
... Look, it was the only thing I could think of, and "Rabid Fangirl" didn't fit.
The nature was a nice bonus.

Do you know what I'm going to do to you now?!
I'm going to give you a terrible nickname. HAH.

... You really can't let me name these.
Youngster Joey and his Rattata are famous among Pokémon fans.
... Because he is the first trainer who gives you his phone number and, for a while, one of the few who'll call you... and he won't call you for rematches.
By the way, Ronnie can't do much more than this right now: he has Stun Spore too, and that's pretty damn useful at times, but that's about it.
... Is she speaking? Chomping? Singing?
... So yeah, right now, Franziska is the only one who can effectively take care of Bug-types. Maybe I should think of a third Pokémon to add to our mighty forces.
BY THE WAY, FLASH IS ANNOYING AND I THANK THE HEAVENS IT'S NOT AN HM ANYMORE.
... But graphical glitches are pretty annoying too. We'll come back later.
You know what? Fuck it. RONNIE CAN HANDLE A CATERPIE.
... That was actually pretty damn good.
And now I feel free to switch Pokémon! Hooray!
... I have a mild obsession with keeping my team at equal levels all the time. Don't look at me that way.
Ethan gives us a thing to record battles and goes away. Riveting.
