Hi, I am still a lazy bitch.
But that sort of has nothing to do with this post! First of all, the cat's fine and regularly waging war against everyone's feet. His teeth are sharp as fuck.
... Now, that aside, I just want to share the stuff I've been up to - most of it grabbing sprites and animations from GK2. None of these sprites contain spoilers (except for one returning character other than Shelly, but that's a tiny sprite!), but if you want to skip them anyway, go ahead!
These two images are just gorgeous. I believe they're used in the intro to a case, but they could very well be indicative of the graphic quality we might see in future instalments on, say, the 3DS. The colours are beautiful, man! Also, they show off this game's character design, which I really love (with a few exceptions).

Fine. I'll be honest. I genuinely think de Killer's legs look nice. There.
I've been making fun of this guy ever since I first saw him for his complete disregard of gun safety, so finding this animation was VERY satisfying.
Oh, look. Shelly again. Sadly, the animation loses half of its appeal against a white background.

Right, that's half the post done. Next... Because I am completely fucking insane, I've been sketching up some AAI-style reactions for young!Shelly, based on his canon in-game animations. So far, though, I am only happy with three:

I've been thinking of doing some movie commentary - with screencaps and such, just like I did for 1-5 and 2-4. Okay, honestly, I really want to do that mainly for Wild Target, but I'd feel bad if I only did that one. 8|;; So, if anyone thinks this is a good idea... Do throw your suggestions at me?

Also, Mr. Anti-gun-safety dude? That second picture of him looks vaguely dirty. Like, what's his other hand doing, and... surely I'm not the only one who saw that and thought "Freud would have a field day there"?
Also, your drawings: AMAZING. OMFG, seriously. these look incredible and are some of my favourites of yours to date. I'm jealous of how fluid your work seems to look: it would take me hours upon hours to get anything that would look remotely like those sketches, and there'd be holes rubbed out of the paper and everything. Your stuff is just so graceful and elegant and so damned pretty.
And yay for Oliver! I'm glad he's doing well. :)

... Now I'm reminded of that one animation of Luke Atmey where one of his hands is out of view and the respective arm is twitching frantically. When I saw it, I could never unsee it again.
Thank you! I'm very happy to hear that, since I AM pretty pleased with them. And don't worry - many, many of the things I do look messy and awkward, and sometimes the ones that look right took a while to get there. óuò
