Okay, first, I should get the stuff that few people will care about out of the way! So... letter B today.
1. Sonic Adventure - Bad Taste Aquarium (Hot Shelter)
As I'm still essentially a little toddler in the grand scheme of things, I regret to inform you that I grew up with the Dreamcast Sonic Adventure games rather than the Mega Drive classics. And boy, do I still love them. They haven't aged well at all, but nostalgia always gets the best of me and I can't help but to have fun playing them even today. And they had some damn cool music...
1.5. Sonic Unleashed - Battle Music
This theme is from one of the most recent 3D Sonic games. It sounds pretty snazzy and funky, right? Well, you kind of start to hate it after you've heard it for the 10th time in a 30-minute-long level. And there are five versions of this theme in the OST, all sounding pretty much identical.
2. Placebo - The Bitter End
G-GUYS, AM I UNCOOL FOR LIKING THIS?
3. ZUN - Bloom Nobly, Cherry Blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life
More Touhou music! This theme belongs to Yuyuko Saigyouji (Jesus Christ how do you remember how to spell that), a ghost who stole all of Spring one day because she wanted to make a tree bloom. She's a final boss and this is a cool theme, so hey!
4. Masakazu Sugimori - The Blue Badger ~ I Want to Defend
Just thought I'd remind you that this exists.
5. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Try saying the first verse of this song anywhere in the world or in the Internet. See how long it takes for at least five other people to join you in an auditory orgy.
6. Masami Ueda - Boss of the Sparrow Union
From Okami, which is one of my favourite games ever. This is the theme of a Godfather-like sparrow. And he is awesome. And so is this music. And so is the whole game.
7. Kanjika - Breathtaking Vision
An amazing orchestral remix of the Sky Sanctuary level music from Sonic 3. I love this kind of stuff.
Now, for the second thing few people will care about: regarding the detective!Shelly fic, I've hit a bit of a roadblock because I have so far neglected to think of how the corpse in the story actually came to be one. You know, as in... the method used. And the specifics. OH GOD, WRITING MURDER IS HARD, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL NOW PERVY ;____;
And now, something you might just be interested in! Give me a pairing and I will write a love note from one to another. The pairing can be my character and yours, mine and someone else's, or anything that strikes your fancy as long as I know who they are.
